Tasting notes: Intense and elegant symphony of aromas: ripe black fruit, cherries and licorice. Next appear spicy notes such as black pepper, nutmeg and cloves, followed by hints of tobacco leaves and all this on a fragrant background of toffee and smoked notes. In the mouth it is friendly, velvety, and voluptuous. Fleshy, round, full and glyceric. Very enveloping sensation in the mouth. Ripe with a very long and persistent finish.
Pairing: Best enjoyed with mature cheeses, cured meats or slow roasted beef.
Descriptions: Grapes are meticulously hand-selected. Whole berry fermentation is carried out after destemming at controlled temperature. The wine is bottled unfiltered after 25 months of aging in French and Hungarian oak barrels and 2 years bottle ageing before release.
