Typical fresh acidity, high tannin and notes of black truffle and vanilla are well integrated on the long finish.

Pairing: Barolo is simply wonderful with game birds such as quail, goose, pheasant, or duck, as well as pork chops, due to the tannin in this red wine-loving rich fatty meats.
Winemaking: 2018 was an outstanding vintage with the grapes ripening extremely well. In the winery the grape bunches were de-stemmed before the berries were crushed. The wine was fermented in stainless steel vats for 9 days before maturation took place in oak casks.
