Description: Furmint is Hungary's flagship white grape variety, it has great structure and character. In 1737 the Tokaj Wine Region was declared the first closed wine region in the world; since 2002 it has belonged to the UNESCO World Heritage. Known famously for producing the worlds finest sweet wines, winemakers started making exquisite dry white wines forty years ago.
Pairing: Amazing with dishes containing spice, great for Alfresco dining, and to while away your afternoon
