Grapes: Touriga Nacional 30%, Touriga Franca 30%, Tinta Barroca 30%, Tinta Cão 5% and Sousão 5%

Winemaking: The grapes are hand-picked the second week of October and crushed into lagars, where maceration takes place during 3 to 4 days. Fermentation is stopped at 7% alcohol with the addition of brandy. Finally, the wine is aged 3 years in large 5000 liter wooden casks.
Tasting notes: Very delicate and elegant fortified wine full of notes of blackberries, cherries and juicy ripe cherries on the fruity side, complemented by aromas of dark chocolate, coffee, cloves and black pepper.
Alcohol content: 20%
Pairing: Perfect with any chocolate dessert and mature cheeses like Stilton and Gorgonzola.
